I am currently documenting endangered species recovery efforts on the island of Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean. The project, called “Mauritius Beyond the Dodo” is an effort to raise awareness about the island’s remaining endemic species, including over 50 species of plants that have less than 10 individuals remaining in the wild. The project will culminate in a traveling exhibit on the island later in 2015.
